The park and surrounding area has many “shared use” paths. This means that the paths can be used for cycling, walking, running and horse riding. Safety is paramount in the park, therefore due to the fast nature of cycling, we ask that cyclists are particularly safety conscious of their surroundings, ensuring bicycles are fit for use and taking extra special care when near horses.

Aberdeen City Council have published a cycle map detailing the area’s “shared use” routes along both cycle lanes and ‘shared use’ paths. Please take care when on the roads and make sure you can be seen.

The places to lock up your bike are limited in the park at the moment, however this is one area the Friends want to improve upon.
